Anything will work, but you need to alter their appearance somehow so the game will know to recalculate the textures on their outfits. ![]() Restarting the game and/or reloading that particular save might fix this issue too (although I’m not 100% certain about that), but a simpler way to solve the problem is to take the offending sim into stylist mode with MasterController (or edit in CAS or use a mirror or a dresser) and change something about them. It doesn’t happen every time or with every sim, but often enough that it was irritating me. First, there is a glitch whenever a sim is placed directly from the bin into the world where the game miscalculates the specular (shine) on their clothing. ![]() ![]() I’m sure y'all probably already know both of these, but in case anyone doesn’t here are two quick and easy solutions to eliminate saran-wrapped clothes in The Sims 3.
